Rachel Li is the London Region Manager for Sinocampus, working with universities and FE colleges to create and support collaborations between the UK and China.
Rachel believes education transforms lives. Motivated by her own learning and career experiences in China, North America & Europe, she feels passionate about education without borders, and strives to help others to benefit from the opportunities that she has enjoyed.
She qualified as an English major, teaching at one of the top middle schools in Beijing. However, Rachel wanted to build her skills overseas and studied business strategy in Canada, subsequently recruited into a marketing internship for a leading electronics multinational. She was promoted into business development, managing a business partner programme to create and strengthen commercial relationships with suppliers in Greater China and the EMEA region. She has designed and delivered global sourcing workshops and webinars for hundreds of staff in 44 offices across 25 countries.
In 2016, Rachel decided to leverage her business skills to enhance international collaborations in education. At Sinocampus, she has worked to connect British and Chinese universities and FE Colleges, identifying and supporting collaboration opportunities for partners. Her current interests are enterprise & entrepreneurship education and joint degree programmes.
Rachel holds an MBA from Memorial University, Canada, and a BA in English Education from Beijing Normal University, China.
