Sinocampus is a specialised Transnational Education (TNE) company fostering higher education partnerships

Sinocampus was established in 2003 during China’s first education reforms to raise the profile of internationalisation and enterprise within educational institutions in China. We have successfully obtained permits to facilitate university partnerships and implement joint programmes in China for close to 20 years.

We work with a wide range of partners including national and international Higher and Further Education institutions, businesses and policy-makers at national and provincial level across China.

Xiaoyu (Tiger) Wang

Chairman and CEO, Sinocampus

 

Xiaoyu (Tiger) Wang: Founder, Chairman and CEO of Sinocampus International Education. He was born in 1977 in Beijing, and completed his undergraduate studies at Harper Adams University before going on to do his MBA at the Royal Agricultural University in UK. Tiger started working on transnational education (TNE) programmes in 2003 and in 2012 founded Sinocampus International Education to promote long-term partnerships between higher education institutions in UK and China. He concurrently represents the UK’s National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education (NCEE) in China to promote enterprise education. Sinocampus is now regarded as a leader in the provision of Sino-UK education services in the fields of transnational education (TNE) and enterprise education programmes in China. He was elected as Board of Regents of Harris Manchester College in the University of Oxford and is a Freeman of the City of London.

Chris Brown

Managing Director, Sinocampus UK

Chris has lived and worked in China since 1994, setting up joint ventures for leading agri-business firms, Cherry Valley Farms Ltd and Big Dutchman GmbH. Chris subsequently became a senior policy advisor for the EU, advising on the impact of China’s WTO accession on its economy, brokering technology partnerships between European and Asian think-tanks & universities and leading the EU’s policy dialogues strategy in China, co-authoring a book on Smart Cities. Chris is a member of the World Internet Conference which takes place annually in Wuzhen in China. He co-founded Sinocampus International Education in 2012 and now manages the company’s operations in UK. He recently ran the highly successful UK-China international standards programme on behalf of The British Standards Institution (BSI) and has been appointed as a Visiting Professor at Heilongjiang University of International Trade and Economics

Kevin Zhao

Business Development Director, Sinocampus UK

Kevin worked in the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassies for many years, following which he took up management work in Baidu, China’s largest Internet search engine and NASDAQ a listed company, serving as a senior director successively in the President’s Office, Strategic Office, Commercial Risk Control Center and Channel Sales Department. Kevin has rich experience in business expansion, sales management and strategic analysis. He is familiar with online and offline business Internet scenarios. After leaving Baidu, he became the Vice President of 51Job, the largest online human resources platform in China, responsible for new business expansion, public relations and sales management.

After joining Sinocampus in 2023, Kevin has been based in London, UK, acting as Director of Business Development, responsible for liaising with Universities and Colleges in the UK for the preparation and implementation of transnational education (TNE) programmes.
