Celebrating the Undergraduate Cohort of the Sino-British Joint Program at Shandong Agricultural University

On September 20, Shandong Agricultural University (SDAU) held the opening ceremony for new students in its joint program with the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) on the Daizong Campus. SDAU Vice President Lin Hai and RAU Vice President Chang Xianmin attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Lin Hai extended congratulations and a warm welcome to the new students on behalf of the faculty and student body. He introduced SDAU’s rich history and recent achievements, noting that the university is at a critical stage in building itself into a world-class agricultural institution.

RAU Vice President Chang Xianmin welcomed the new students to the joint programme’s academic family, expressing gratitude to SDAU for the opportunity to welcome RAU students in Taian, China. He also shared insights into the operation and mission of the Royal Agricultural University, noting that this joint program with SDAU represents a globally significant collaboration. By sharing insights, knowledge, and expertise on an international scale, this partnership aims to help address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
